Objective

A four month Social Media Launch Strategy in which we were tasked with creating excitement around the launch of Sydney’s latest arts and entertainment precinct – South Eveleigh. Brandalism was brought on board and briefed with engaging the local community to visit and advocate for the area as well as generating interest in the wider Sydney community. The ideal would be for South Eveleigh to grow a database of locals that they could then support and engage with on an ongoing basis. Above all we wanted to drive interest and encourage footfall to the area by strengthening our positioning as a “must see” Sydney venue and ensuring that we become an exciting and intriguing place to visit in Sydney.

 

What we did

Our Social Media Launch Strategy culminated with the massively successful Sydney Solstice weekend and focused on the following: A Lead Generation Campaign that encouraged locals to be part of the ‘South Eveleigh Inner Circle’, on-brand social media content that gave a nod to the history of the area while creating massive amounts of intrigue around new launch bars and restaurants; a retailer partner strategy in which we supported our hospitality venues and commercial partners with content; and a paid social media strategy that encouraged social following and increased our digital presence in order to strengthen our brand and enable us to support the businesses in the area more effectively.
